Some idiot rates nearly all my videos on youtube with 1 or 2 points. Even those non-musical clips which I have posted for my personal needs. WTF? Switching that feature off нах.
Also, funny it is, my 1997 "Jewifying the Belarusian Anthem" video has drawn about a dozen anti-Semitic comments from different countries, from Belarus to Middle East and US, which I have deleted (or should I have kept them for display?)
Ok, now, here is finally a Foolish Tune, AKA Tam Tugu Dah, which I had written in a slightly depressive mood and then played joyfully together with the Foolish Band / Tamevate Kapelye, live at DROM.

Ты почти изобрел машину времени, ушла на твой ченал и просто вывалилась из 4-го измерения. Волшебно! Волшебно! Волшебно! Спасибо!:)

Youtube really is a harsh medium, eh?
A few years back, I received hate mail every day on my youtube account from military or ex-military canadians for a 1980s Quebecois parody video of canadian army recruitment advertisements that I put subtitles on and reposted.

I'd say it's just another 'public place', where, likewise in real life, there are smarties and dumbs, nice people and real MF'ers. This is what I have experienced in LJ, too, but the privacy level here is relevantly higher. Too many people unfortunately think that YouTube is a place where everyone is preaching to the world, while this is not true.
Speaking of your Canadian 'military' experience, I would suggest to add (just for a record) respective excerpts from "South Park: Longer, Bigger and Uncut".

Haha, I have met people in Eastern Europe whose first questions when they hear I'm Canadian are "Are Canadians really like they are in South Park? Why does everyone hate them so much? Do they really talk like that?"

Well, would I have not visited Canada, I'd probably ask the same (stupid) set of questions :) Just kiddin'
In terms of international cross-cutlure interest and tourism, South Park probably can be compared to Sasha Baron Cohen's "Borat", after which the tours to Kazakhstan became extremely popular.

They are probably comparable as well, in that they are not even really making fun of any pre-existing stereotypes, just conjuring up a set of believable and laughable ones ;)

Sorry... And, BTW, there were so few people at that gig.
Come at the next concert, Nov. 15th, 3 pm, at Museum on Eldridge Street (12 Eldridge Street, New York, NY).
