Dak Tilde, или наши в городе
Jan. 26th, 2009 02:45 pmI want to announce to those interested in contemporary music the work of my old friend Damian (Dmitri) Marhulets. We both studied at the National Music College under the auspices of the Belarusian State Academy of Music and also played together in the Simcha Jewish Youth Music Theater. But this is in the past (not our friendship of course).
Now Damian is doing a lot of experimental, electronic and electroacoustic music, inheriting the traditions of the Second (post-Webernian) Avantgarde. It is also worth to mention that Damian also plays Jewish music, mainly in the stream of John Zorn's Radical Jewish culture.
