me, too, although I was there only for one day in my whole life.
Some of my friends and former classmates live, study, and work there, some Paris-based musicians are friends of mine. I hope to get there one day.
I can tell you a joke.
USSR. Rabinovich comes to OVIR (Soviet visa and permit office that let people go abroad at that time) and says, "I want to move to Israel". "Okay", they say, here is you travel passport, you may go. After having arrived in Israel, Rabinovich instantly goes to Misrad Ha-pnim (Ministry of Internal affairs) and starts kvetching, "you know, I want to go back to the USSR, I long for my dear wife". "Okay", the Israeli officer says, "you may go", and gives him a ticket. At the very day that Rabinovich arrives in the USSR, he goes to OVIR and says, "you know, I thought to myself, I would rather prefer to go to Israel". "Well", they say, "you may go", and issue Rabinovich another ticket to Tel-Aviv. So, the situation recurs several times, and on Rabinovich's 4th visit to the Soviet OVIR, he is finally asked, "Listen, Rabinovich, why the hell are you fucking our brain with your Israel?!" So Rabinovich's answer was, "Israel, Shmisrael, it's all bullshit... you should feel what that incomparable transfer in Paris is!"

Well, that is a very nice joke and of course a great compliment to the city of Love. I like the fact that I have never been there yet I love it. I have been asked to go several times but I could not go (work, study) and now I have been invited to go there soon, my word is: I will go because I feel I am going to fall in love with it! thanks for the joke, dear

BTW, a logic construct have just come to my mind. If you are in love with Paris and go to work there, you are inevitably in love with your job. Eh? ;-) LOL.
