Tamevate Kapelye on Eldridge Street

Yummier and crispier than ever, this is not only klezmer music with a touch of modern jazz and classical tradition, but also original pieces and even some of Bollywood music. Since this is an early afternoon Sunday concert, families will feel comfortable with bringing kids, and it's an appropriate time to come for the seniors, too. Everyone is heartily welcome.

Tamevate Kapelye got together after the successful show "Gimpel the Fool" at the National Yiddish Theater - Folksbiene, 2008. The band members are:

Jonti Siman, contrabass (guest artist)
