My second July 4 in the US. The first was... no, not last year (I came just a bit later), but in 2001, in Los Lunas, New Mexico. I went out to see a parade in an English flag T-shirt, not on purpose, that's what my hand had first reached in my suitcase. An officer approached me on a horse and asked, "How do you like the colonies?"
